American Bresse have the same distinctive, flavorful meat quality that French Bresse chickens are praised for. They are described as the "most delicious chicken in the world" due to the fat-marbled meat sought after by elite chefs & celebrities.
They are a dual-purpose breed, laying up to 250 eggs per year, with the eggs having a delicate, creamy flavor.
Cherry Grove Farm is currently building our Bresse founding flock, offering eggs for sale, and incubating eggs for meat bird production.
